The Qur’an praises the Jews who followed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as it says:
Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper.

O Prophet! I have sent you as a witness over the truth, a bearer of good news for the believers and a bearer of warnings for the unbelievers. I have sent you as a mentor for the unlettered. You are My servant and My prophet. I give you the name of the Reliant on Allah. You are never harsh or stern. You shall never shout, cry out or raise your voice in the market places (or the streets). You do not return evil with evil; rather you forgive and forget.
