The Qur’an states:
To Allah, Jesus is like Adam; He created Him from clay and then said to him, ‘Be’ and so be he.
Qur’an 3:59
The Qur’an also states:
The Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, was but a prophet of Allah. Jesus was Allah’s word that Allah revealed to Mary. Jesus was also a soul that was created at Allah’s command. So believe in Allah and His prophets.
Qur’an 4:171
The Qur’an also states:
Jesus spoke in the cradle saying: ‘Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and charity as long as I am here in this world.’
Qur’an 19:30-31
Jesus (PBUH) has been mentioned in the Qur’an fifty-five (55) times, by the three names of “Jesus”, “The Messiah” and “Son of Mary”.
Mary (ABPWH) the Mother of Jesus (PBUH):
Allah Almighty sets Mary as a role model for believing men and women. The Qur’an praised Mary in the following terms:
Mary, Daughter of Imran, guarded her chastity. Therefore, Allah blew into her through His Angel; she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient.
Qur’an 66:12
The Qur’an has an entire chapter which is named after Mary (ABPWH) (i.e. the Chapter of Mary).
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also says in tribute to her:
Many men reached perfection (in human history) and none of women reached human perfection except for Asia Pharaoh’s wife and Mary Daughter of Imran.

The Second Coming of Jesus (PBUH):
There are strong bonds that connect between Prophet Jesus (PBUH) and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Of these bonds is that Jesus (PBUH) is the last prophet before Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Jesus (PBUH) foretold the coming of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Prophet Jesus (PBUH) also has a close relationship with Muslims since Islam teaches that Jesus (PBUH) will come back again before the Day of Judgment where he will rule the world, preach Islam and establish justice on earth. (Al-Bukhari 2222 and Muslim 155).
Once, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said to his followers wondering:
What would it be like with you when the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you and lead you in prayer!

Jesus (PBUH) Gives News of Muhammad’s Coming (PBUH):
Allah Almighty says:
Jesus, son of Mary, said, ‘O Children of Israel! Indeed, I am the Messenger of Allah to you and I am affirming the authenticity of the Torah and bringing news of a Prophet to come after me; his name is Ahmad,
Qur’an 61:6
When the Prophet (PBUH) was asked when his prophecy began he (PBUH) said:
I am the prayer that Abraham made and the news that Jesus gave.

The Prophet’s Love and Praises of Jesus (PBUH):
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“I am the closest to Jesus, son of Mary; both in this life as well as in the Hereafter; for there is no prophet between us.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) meant he came directly after Jesus (PBUH). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also said:
Whoever believes that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone and that Muhammad is Allah’s servant and Prophet, whoever believes that Jesus is Allah’s servant, Prophet, and command which Allah revealed to Mary and a soul which Allah created, and whoever believes that Paradise and Hell are true; whoever believes in all of these articles will be admitted to Paradise, no matter how few their good deeds may be.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
Whoever believes in Jesus and then comes to believe in me shall receive a double reward.

Abu Hurayrah (ABPWH) narrated that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
No child is born but that Satan touches it the very moment it is born. That is why a newlyborn child cries loudly while it is being delivered; that is because it is poked in the waist by Satan. Mary and her son are exceptions in this regard; Satan did not touch them.
Abu Hurayrah (ABPWH)
Then, Abu Hurayrah (ABPWH) explained why Mary and her son Were exceptional in this regard. He (GBPUH) said:
It was because Mary’s mother prayed to Allah to protect her and her future offspring from Satan; she said:

“O Allah! I ask you to protect Mary and her offspring from Satan.”
How Long Was It between Jesus (PBUH) and Muhammad (PBUH)?
